Topic: Any way for this POS script to not get hacked?????

I am fucking tired of patching/repatching this piece of shit script. What the fuck is the fix for this hack??!?!?!? I have downgraded/upgraded 20x over the last month, what the fuck is going on with this? Upgrade to build 34, still hacked. I have spent $1k's with you guys on scripts, I NEED A GOD DAMN FIX!!! Can you tell I am mad? I am fucking furious, this has gone on for too long, every morning I get up to find my sites hacked, AGAIN.

1) If script gets hacked 1 time OVER 3 years in business it doesn't mean its piece of SHIT, especially if UPDATE FILES WERE HACKED BECAUSE OF OUR SERVER.

2) Did U follow procedure as kildoozer explained with proper www.scriptpulse.com/updater.zip - dowload then upload via ftp (in case if its wrong size - should be around 3kb) and are U sure that TP files are not hacked VIA SOME OTHER SCRIPT?

3) Yes U can say U spent but U also saved A LOT based on what price you got and what price U would get with other scripts, also we DID NOT FORCE YOU to spend

4) I asked you LONG ago ftp/tp login info since start of this problems, till todays date I NEVER received it.

5) I answer your ICQ messages as soon as I am on PC and that is usually within 2-3 hrs from when you send, so I again don't see reason to flame me on support forum

I just downloaded the zip file. There seems to be a discrepancy. The file I downloaded is 8.65kb not 3kb. Not sure if that means that updater.zip has been hacked.

updater.zip is correct, I wrote wrong version size since kildoozer is not around and I was not sure of correct size.

Yes, I followed killdoozer's instructions, to the T. Not sure if the install on all my servers with a 777 directory is to blame or what here, I just know I don't have time to visit this forum as many times as I have in the last month, just so my sites don't die. Not trying to flame you, but this is the 5th time, and on 170 sites, it is not a easy process. I apologize as you did respond shortly after I icq'ed you, but this issue did start because YOUR server got hacked, and now in turn these issues have happen. Not sure where shit is connected, but this has cost me hours of time and money I have to continue to put into feeder to get my sites back. Delete this thread if you want, you know I dont mean any disrespect to you, but you must understand how frustrating it is when each time I log back in and they are hacked. I have done the most recent procedure, will keep my fingers crossed all is working now.

I've got the same problem.  I thought I'd done everything correctly even with updater.zip but now i checked and half my sites have the exploit AGAIN, even after updating to the latest version...  My host even scanned my server yesterday and said nothing but TP files looked suspicious and they couldn't check any further because of the zend encoding.  I've sent in my ftp/server info a couple times too nobody ever gets back to me.

I have been using

Version 1.0.4 build 22

since the fuckup with V.1.0.6 build 26

It works perfectly.

Just launched a new site.

My 1st thing to do was to downgrade to Version 1.0.4 build 22.

and my sites are hacked again and have the redirect as well again, seems nothing really can get ahold of that,
i seriously love TP however guys this hack thingie must be fixed finally,

If you have any php include on site that includes file tp/ssi_in.php just delete that include and your site is up and running well again .  /it helped me

So far all issues solved, and whoever had issues with latest build it was their fault (so far from what we saw). I hope finally all TPs are back up and running!

cause all we did was to click on "update available" when there was an option
