where are se bots sent at the moment? are they noref_out?

nope, as no cookie traffic if they don't store cookies.

I see the Google Bot User Agent in my noref_in traffic

It can be then that some robots go to noref traffic. We will solve this issue in next update and add special trade/rules for robots. cheers
