what exaclty will handle some modifiers setting ...
« on: May 14, 2009, 09:19:04 AM »
hi ip0li,

can you explain me a little bit the "modifiers" and the %-effect because for some ones I don't be sure if I will understand it correct.

Quote
Any trade sending more than 20% or less than 2% of its traffic via proxies
Any trade sending less than 85% or more than 98% uniques
Top 10% of trades ranked by productivity
Bottom 25% of trades ranked by productivity
Top 5% of trades ranked by points
Bottom 5% of trades ranked by points
Any trades which have less than 90% of average return if no negative modifiers
Any trades which have more than 130% of average daily return if no positive modifiers or forces
Any trades which have more than 130% of average hourly return if no positive modifiers or forces

Example : first setting says "more than 20% less the 2%" which seems that this will not have any effect for trader which have 3-19% of proxy traffic. So why should they get 90% of traffic. I guess that if a trade will have less then 2% I will understand it but why MORE THAN 20% - why that ?? But why it will exclude 3-19% of proxy traffic ??

The % settings means the % of the whole traffic or any other amount ? Because 120% is more than 100% as I will have traffic :)

Maybe you will have a little bit time to explain this values for the whole other ones too :P best would be if you can put it into the manual ;)

thx a lot

For example: Any trade sending more than 20% or less than 2% of its traffic via proxies

It means that if trade has less then 2% or more then 20% proxy traffic from total INS it will be treated with lower ratio as setted in filed box...othervise it has normal ratio...

Is it clear now :) ?

depending ... ok I understand to send within another ratio. But why should I punish a trader who will send less than 2% of proxy traffic ?? It is nothing bad in my eyes event a trader will not send more than 5% of proxy traffic. So maybe I will be wrong, but should it not be only "more than 2% of proxy" and nothing more ??

if we set 100% then it means no effect at all for them right?
