Content encoding error
« on: March 06, 2015, 02:30:15 AM »
Hello,

After a move to a new server I've been randomly getting errors like 'content encoding error' and 'the connection was reset' on the index page of some of my TGP sites. This are happening randomly and a refresh of the page usually helps.

The tech team of my host have narrowed down to this:

Quote
This is an example of the error:

open("/web/sites/*****/*****.com/public_html/tp/top_thumb.php", O_RDONLY) = 59
fstat(59, {st_mode=S_IFREG|0777, st_size=28822, ...}) = 0
mmap(NULL, 28822, PROT_READ, MAP_SHARED, 59, 0) = 0x7fd737b05000
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
chdir("/var/cache/apache2") = 0
rt_sigaction(SIGSEGV, {SIG_DFL, [], SA_RESTORER|SA_INTERRUPT, 0x7fd73f0a10a0}, {SIG_DFL, [], SA_RESTORER|SA_RESETHAND, 0x7fd73f0a10a0}, 8) = 0
kill(14935, SIGSEGV) = 0
rt_sigreturn(0x3a57) = 140562318507008
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
Process 14935 detached

This is occurring when attempting to load /web/sites/****/*/public_html/tp/top_thumb.php as an example.

Do you have any idea what the problem is and if its related to TP?

Thank you,
Luka

Hi Luka, I really don't know. Best would be to run TP installer over your current install and then if problem again occurs Kildoozer can take a look at it. Overwriting current install(DO NOT DELETE EXISTING FILES) will keep all your stats trades etc safe.
