Topic: Is an update being rolled out?

I noticed an update was available today.  I upgraded two sites to test (5-6 files were changed) and now these sites just display the background template and nothing else in both browsers.  But I can access tpupdater.php and updater.php.  I was just wondering if some update is on the way or if I need worry about getting hacked?  If you are rolling out an update you may want to check it since it did this on two sites.

Update:

It looks like it does it every time I upgrade to the ioncube version.  The latest version I can use without the problem seems to be v.35.

Even though it worked before and ioncube loader v.4 is definitely installed and working here is 'php -v'

My other installs which are using v.41 (ioncube) are working fine but they show an update available.

I did an update and these files do not show in the scanner now.

Hi guys, there was issue today with amazon cloud services hence this error happened. Since it was new year we didn't notice it immediately and then we needed some time to contact amazon support.

Anyway issue is now solved, update was false so now all should be fine.

In future please check change log for new updates, if there is no update in change log then do not update your script!

In case U already updated, you can go to tools/updater and update your script to restore original/correct files.

I haven't tried it yet but how do I get to 1.0.7 Build 41?

I didnt updated, but there is still message about available update on my site. And when I downgrade as a test to zend version and try to update to 41 I recieved a message, that I have to chmod some files (but it is not working even chmod is correct).

I think there are still issues.  I just did a completely new install (amateurcfnmtube.com) and still got the blank page problem after trying to update to the ioncube version.  No big deal, I'll stay on .34 or .35 for this site for a while.  But just to let you know.  I doubt I am the only one seeing weirdness.

Yeah its normal if some files don't have correct permissions.

Try to update and see what it says, what files were updated and if any more files need updating.
