with my android 2.2 smartphone I don't get redirected although I have it set to redirect in the IN and OUT settings.

well, let me ask first, should the redirect work when I have this right after my <head> tag:

<?php virtual("/tp/ssi_in.php")?>

If that should do it then I think it's a general problem because with iphone 3 user agent there is no redirect either

No, it won't work. Any redirect rule for incoming traffic will work only with tp_in.php + .htaccess.

I get blank pages too when trying to load
mysite.com/tp/ssi_in.php and the tp_in.php without the htaccess line
