Toplist File Cannot Be Created-Check File permissions
« on: August 23, 2011, 09:24:52 AM »
I got TP installed and I have tried to create a toplist, but I keep getting error message saying to check file permissions and try again. The permissions are set to 777 for the directory. If they were not, I could have never gotten the script installed right? Unless there is a directory that I am not seeing that needs to be set to 777, I am at a loss. I am wondering if it could be something with the path? I don't know. If someone could help I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Robert

Hello there!

You need to add the full path of the folder and file that you are using or going to use, and set that folder and that file to permission 777. just writing in the domain.com/folder/toplist.php is not going to cut it.

it needs to look like something like this:

/home/httpd/html/domain_folder/public_html/toplist/toplist.php
