This one was fixed previously but seems to have reappeared - I have difficulty setting the skim scheme for SE and bookmarks using mass edit - but thi son'es got a twist. Here's what I've seen. I have a skim scheme defined named 'bkkse'.
I have TP 1.0.5 build 24 and Firefox 3.6.13
1st I try setting the skim scheme just for SE
- start with scheme = 'def'
- main page shows 'Def' in the 'scheme' column
- flower icon shows 'Default' in the 'scheme' field
this is all ok
Now I change the scheme from 'Def' to 'bmkse' using the flower icon
- reload main page - shows 'bmkse' in 'scheme' column
- view via flower icon - shows 'bmkse' in the 'scheme' field
this is all ok
Now I change the scheme for SE from 'Def' to 'bmkse' using the tick box and 'Edit' popup menu
ie, tick box next to 'SE'; popup menu appears, click 'Edit'
Mass edit panel appears; click 'trade scheme' list and choose 'bmkse'
click 'update; refresh the main stats page
- main page shows 'bmkse' in the 'scheme' column (ok)
- click the flower icon for 'SE'; the trade scheme field shows 'Default'
this is NOT ok
- click 'update' on the edit panel and refresh the stats page
- 'scheme' column now shows 'Def'
Now I use mass edit tick box to edit 2 trades (following the above)
tick box for 'SE' and 'Bookmarks'; click edit on the popup
choose 'bmkse' as the scheme and click 'update'
refresh the main stats page;
- 'SE' now shows 'bmkse' as the scheme (ok)
- but 'Bookmark' still has 'Def' as the scheme. (not ok)
Now here's the clincher, stay with me here...
I set the schemes back to 'Def' for both SE and Bookmark using the flower icon
I then use the flower icon to set the scheme for 'Bookmark' to 'bmkse' (which works ok)
I then set the scheme for 'Bookmark' back to 'Def' using the flower icon
At this point both schemes (SE and Bookmark) are 'Def'
I now use the tick box and edit popup to try to set 'SE' and 'Bookmark' schemes to 'bmkse'
AND IT WORKS for both
It seems that the mass edit will somehow set a scheme if it has been used before?
