at which signal is it a good idea to turn on SOP?
- my stats are loading really slow from time to time, sometimes not at all, although my server load is always pretty smooth around 1 but since i have 40+ TPīs on that box i wanted to ask

I enable it after I have 5 tp's running on same box, it can't hurt it can just help.

Assuming I have 20 copies on a server, so I'll check the 'enable' box and keep Max. threads: at "5" in SOP section of each copy or only 1 copy? Do i change max threads to 20?

just enable it, max threads to 5 will be good and you need to do it on each site. LMK how it went it should better balance server loads so less spikes.
