It would be nice remove tp_in.php from "update check" when include main pages option disabled, because tp_in used only for php include configuration.

why? is it so big problem if 1 file is updated :) ?

I prefer not setup my root dir to 777 or change root dir owner.
Now I must chmod 777, than make update, than chmod root back.
If I start 10-20 sites with TP this process kill me :)

no, U just need to upload empty tp_in.php file and chmod that file 777, that will do the trick if U don't wanna do root 777

This mean script do not check files checksum?

script will overwrite empty file....with correct version of file....and yes it does check checksum but not on files which it will overwrite...it checks all files of script, and if there is clear that checksum is wrong it offers update.
