The Trade Pulse Traffic Script looked very attractive to me. So I decided to install a free version and upgrade to a paid lisence if I liked it.
However, while trying to install it I keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error.
Permissions set to 777.
Followed the readme correctly.
Uploaded in Binary Mode.

as spoken over icq, it's host related problem.

Checked with the host, and the "solution" was rather simple.
If anyone is getting the same 500 Internal Server Error after following the installation guide correctly, then try this, it worked for me:
Set map permissions to 755
Set all files permissions (inside the map) to 644

Go to yoursite.com/install.php

Worked like a charm for me :)

I'm having the same problem. Could you be more specific what you mean by map permissions? Are you referring to a directory?

It's related to your host, ask them to fix it.

I got the exactly same problem, when I try to reach http://myurl.com/install.php I get a 500 Internal server error. It is on a VPS with cPanel/WHM that I am trying to install Trade Pulse, maybe there is some settings that I can change myself in order to fix the problem? Or do I have to call my host?
