I think you are confused regarding issue '3'.

It's called effect bonus. So TP sends more traffic to trades with high effect AND in the same time the same amount LESS traffic to trades with low effect.
effect is total clicks/outgoing hits, so if you have a trade with high effect it means that TP sends few hits to that trade still, for that few hits the incoming traffic is very productive. So you invest few out hits and you get lots of clicks back. That is effect (high effect) and P1 is based on that (and thus TP).
TP rewards these trades by default. 80% of the outgoing traffic is based on P1.
Some trades will have high effect some will have low but you should not increase the bonus from zero to 100% only in small increments like 2-3% then see the result.
If you set effect bonus to 100% you tell TP to send 2 times as much traffic to effective trades than it is hard wired by its algo. So you rape the algo big time. And you tell the TP coders that they don't know how to write a trade algo
Anyway keep us posted I am interested what will happen under such settings but my bet is that you super quickly loose 90% of your trades ...
