how to deal with annoying nocookie traffic?
« on: February 19, 2011, 02:25:37 AM »
hi,

I am getting hit every hour by tons of 'nocookie' traffic. I don't want to send this scrap to my trades since these are mostly hit bots as I see from stats. I set in the Out settings at the bottom of the table: send nocookie traffic: To content, if url= specified and to [Traffic URL] if none.

I thought this should overwrite the skim setting set at nocookie (which is for the moment 50% skim). But it did not, I still send hit bots to my trades.

Please help, how can I sort this out? It messes up my prod. big time

Thanks!

Problem is they also click on your toplists so U cant send 100% to content. U can block IPs using htaccess that should help.

it looks like that send nocookie traffic: To content, if url= specified and to [Traffic URL] if none and also setting up skim scheme for them to send them 100% to content sorted them out 99% :) :D
