Trade Pulse Support / Re: Upgrades

Login issues for some clients should be solved with this update
Bah, i've had nothing but login issues since this update. Kind of hard to add/check trades when you can't log in to the admin.

Don't know what you guys did but everything was working fine until that last update. Now i can't reach any of my other sites from a single TP admin and i can't login to any of my other site's admin even when i try to enter it thru my browser, ex. http://domain.com/tp/

I really hope you guys fix this.

Trade Pulse Bug Reports / Re: http://www.google.com/no_trade ??
« on: December 17, 2008, 09:01:11 PM »
I just did my second installation and I am getting this url often

http://www.google.com/no_trade

Not having this problem on the other install
Getting this as well...had to turn off my feeder traffic because of this. I'm glad it's a new site ( http://gotgloryhole.com/ ) and not one with active trades or it'd be dead in the water right now.

Trade Pulse Bug Reports / Re: Security holes?
« on: December 15, 2008, 04:16:39 AM »
I can't wait to see those holes ;)

Did you contact him to see what he had found?

I am loving the script so far but talk about security holes makes me nervous.
Well maybe that is trick to stop tp popularity.
Maybe, maybe not...but who wants to take that risk? It's defo worth looking into.

lol...been waiting for this one (i expected this suggestion from oil).
I hope it works "correctly" once completed.
I don't want to use anything like this unless it's working flawlessly (just like anyone else that's going to use it).

...we already saw what "overload protection" does to your site if it's not working (hence the reason why i won't use it until it does).

Is there a way to set a default color for new trade signups?

Trade Pulse Support / Re: what is 'Forbidden domains' in edit trade ?
« on: December 08, 2008, 09:55:52 AM »
Basically you can use it to block sites from getting traffic from the trade site you're editing.

It's a quick and efficient way to prevent traffic from domain A from being sent to domain B... I think it's very handy because you can trade with your own sites and make sure that the surfers don't get passed back and forth between them.

Same thing happened to me using %%URL#%%...change URL to DOMAIN and rebuild the toplist.
Should work correctly then. ;)

You have this:
Input - /home/xxx/public_html/tp/toplist/
output - /home/xxx/public_html/tp/toplist/

but you have no .tpl or .html (respectively), you also have to upload both a .tpl and .html to your server and then chmod777 the .html

Trade Pulse Support / [Traffic URL] ?

What exactly is the [traffic URL]?
It's shown on the bottom of Settings, OUT?

I believe in the K.I.S.S. method. The more comprehensive and complicated your set up, the easier it is for things to fail.

I'm using the simplest toplist you can have (if you want to know where your clicks are going). If you don't care what the visitors are clicking on then remove the link="toplist" and you'll have the most basic linking structure possible.

In regards to this
However, even your example is not a full example of the structure of the toplist. Just the beginning of the out.php anchor.

Read reply #4 to this thread and you'll have your "full example of the structure of the toplist"...note the poster's name.

I use link=toplist because, call me crazy, but i'd like to know exactly what my visitors are clicking on...my gallery thumbs or my toplist.

You want simple?
Here ya go
Code: [Select]
<a href="/tp/out.php?to=">
You're not dense, you lack simple html knowledge.

I suggest you back up, actually learn html language, then try this again...or accept and believe everything handed to you and copy/paste whatever someone puts in front of you and see how much money you make afterward. Knowledge is power.

The choice is yours.

Yep, that helped.
You should add your reply to the manual.  ;)
