Trade Pulse Support / Re: Going to something easier
« on: February 29, 2012, 12:00:38 PM »
Next time, try using decent host and U should be fine :).
Well I have used hostgator for years now and I have never had any trouble with service of any kind but sometimes a script comes along that just doesn't have all the info in detail that none script experts can understand! Believe me look through your forum and you'll find countless other webmasters that have said your manual needs more info, more details......I really don't think its my hosting!

The manual could use some work for sure (more details and examples) but the incoming traffic code and outgoing hit code is generally pretty easy (but could use some examples).   Sometimes the shared server providers make things difficult with strange configurations and restrictions though.  It would be pretty difficult to address every possible thing which could go wrong.

I noticed this was your first post.  Chances are if you posted a message before this asking for some help someone might have assisted or at least tried.  Many of us have been there before as far as little annoyances and small stupid mistakes. :)

Trade Pulse Bug Reports / Re: screwed stats
« on: February 15, 2012, 01:12:17 PM »
Are checkboxes near system trades(right to systerm trades name) checked? They are used to count system trades in totals :).

So just make sure checkboxes RIGHT of system trades=checked....or check them and click again on overall.
Wow, that's what that is for.  That's a nice feature to help prevent the spiders and crap traffic from skewing the stats.  Very nice.

Trade Pulse Support / Re: how to tell a cheater
« on: January 31, 2012, 02:34:56 PM »
Catching cheaters is more art than science.  ;)  There are no absolute rules.  Sometimes it will just go by your gut.

But for fast clicks I would pay attention to "Fast Clicks (click time <= 3 sec) amount (%)> " - mainly the number in parenthesis which represents the percentage of fast clicks.  For my sites most trades are <= 10% at 3 seconds.  So if you have a trade sending you 100 clicks and 50% are fast clicks then you should check it carefully and watch it.

For the Analyzer -> Anti-cheat I personally start watching a little around 10 - 20% of anything there if it's a decent amount of clicks (If they send just 5 clicks then it's a mistake to judge them based on five clicks).  Over 20% and I really start watching.  Over 30% and I'll probably kill the trade if it keeps up and it looks like they are getting the best of me.  :)

In the main stats display most of my sites are below 10 threat level for the trade portion.  It's not an absolute measurement though, just relative as it says in the manual.  But if I see most of my other trades are averaging "threat level 3" and there is one trade with over 100 clicks with a 30 threat level then that means I need to go to analyzer -> anti-cheat and see why.

Trade Pulse Support / Re: build 43 / hacked again

If the hacker can had root access then the safest thing to do (although it is time consuming and a pain) is to [on a dedicated server anyway] wipe out the entire drive, reinstall the OS and then restore from the latest known good backup.  It's always dangerous just to try to find all the backdoors and rootkits the crackers might have left because all it takes is one for them to get back in.  Then you'll be continually having to do this.  So sometimes it's easiest just to clean it the right and "old school" way in the first place.

If you can't do this for whatever reason I guess you take your chances and hope for the best.  I hope everything gets fixed.

Trade Pulse Support / Re: What's Wrong With This Picture?
« on: January 27, 2012, 05:00:10 PM »
You could probably benefit from more good trades.  But in the anti-cheat display anyone sending you more than 10-20% of no image, no cookie, proxy, or filtered should be watched carefully if they are sending a decent amount of INs and generating that.  Especially the ones over 30% and near the top based on clicks.

You might consider sending no image to galleries only (so your trades don't get it) and in specialized out settings set it so that credit is not given for trades sending no image (and you'll probably want to not count it for no image outgoing too but that's up to you).  But it takes experimentation because sometimes cleaning your traffic and settings only results in a decline.  But you don't have much to lose anyway since you are oversending so much and your trades seem to be getting the better end of the deal.

Depends.  Are you hitting the top of the toplists on your trades (especially the top ones)?  If so they are maxed out and you probably need more trades like ipoli says.  If not you might also have bad remote trade prod (no one clicking on your trades sites when they get sent there).  That could be because your skim is too low, bad trade matches, or something like that.

Also the Threat level on that site is very high IMO.  I have image check in place and checking my top 3 trade sites they all have threat levels below 5.  Threat level is relative but I would look at stats as a sign that I might have a cheater or a whole network of cheaters trading with me and check analyzer->anti-cheat to see who is sending what.  If the traffic pool is poisoned what can happen is that you will send fake surfers to your trades and they will never click on your trade's sites.  Likewise the poisoned sites will send traffic to you but they will not click either usually since it is fake traffic.  Result = low prod on your site and low remote trade prod.

Also your trades generated around 400 clicks and your system trades generated around 2000 clicks.  Maybe check those system clicks to make sure they are real.  Check your settings too in places like settings->out.  If you are getting hit by a spider and your settings are to send spider traffic to your trades then chances are the bot isn't going to click on your trade's site so you will get nothing back in return.

It might be helpful in the future to provide SHA-2 hashes for various files (File sizes aren't necessarily safe) with each version so that people could manually check them if they have doubts about the integrity of their TP install.

You might also make a special utility which people must manually download which automatically checks the files upon demand.  This way the cracker cannot just subvert the automatic check.  The special utility could then work for people with no ssh access too.  They would just drop it in place via FTP and then execute it.  This would be a backup for the automatic scanner to help catch the tricky hackers.

edit: for bonus security make the manually downloaded automatic sha-2 hash check utility generate a random filename each time it is downloaded.

I would likewise be interested in more details on some of the new features coming.  :)

Trade Pulse Support / Re: Using HostGator with Script Pulse
« on: January 09, 2012, 04:08:12 PM »
I am hoping to run my own MGP/Tube website with my domain bikinihotness.com and a few other of my domains as well. I was under the impression that Script Pulse is a free Thumb Script, but I'm not sure about that anymore. I'm looking for a free working Thumb Script to start my own website with that runs on php5 or better.

You have a lot of work cut out for you but that's ok. :)  Yes, script pulse (Trade Pulse) is a trade script.  It's not a rotator which is what it sounds like you need.  That other link I posted explains it a little and shows some options.  More specifically this page: http://www.adult-website-creation.info/adult%20website%20rotator%20scripts.php will explain some options. For free Smart Thumbs is what I use personally as a Thumb script/rotator.  Best of luck to you!

Hello we probably need more information on what other scripts besides Trade Pulse you are using and/or what you want to do?  However this may be of help to you (by someone else here) : http://www.adult-website-creation.info/ since it covers quite a bit.

Trade Pulse Feature Requests / Re: SEO addition
« on: January 08, 2012, 03:47:35 PM »
allniche...thxs for writing this post ! but i have no idea how to do something like that  :D

lol, yeah it would be pretty hackish.  If you want someone would probably do it for you for a modest sum (or offer it to the TP Team and they might just incorporate it as a legit feature maybe? ;) )  I could probably do it for about $30 with just basic functionality where it knows whether or not your site appears and that's it (no position number since I think that would have to be done site by site in most cases).  Should just take no more than 3 days.  That would mostly cover debugging and testing because that would be the PITA part since you wouldn't want it to have bugs which could screw up your site or algo since it would be dangerous if it did.

Or if I get bored and feel up to it I might just try it anyway sometime.  If I do I will share the code for free here. :)

Trade Pulse Feature Requests / Re: SEO addition

kendrick in the mean time you might be able to use the `shell command` trick/hack in the custom algo to make a shell call to execute a special program to check for this.  It would be a big hack, pretty messy, and would take a lot of creativity but it could be done as far as I see.

In general just make the script report back status codes which the algo would then read and act upon.  On a large site you can pretty much expect it to run every minute.  You would probably want to include some code so that your bot would only run say twice an hour and you would definitely not want it to block.  And if something went wrong with it, you would want the algo to still be able to continue on gracefully.

So sample return status codes:

-3 = fatal error
-2 = queued, no data yet
-1 = transient error/timeout
0 = does not appear on site, no error
# = toplist position (If you wanted to go this far - would likely mean coding a handler for each site but it appears the TP algo has a variable for the domain name which you could pass to your bot)

And then your algo would act on these return codes. :)

Trade Pulse Feature Requests / Enhance Feed System functionality
« on: January 02, 2012, 10:50:20 PM »
I know you guys have your hands full but I thought I'd mention some ideas for consideration if time ever allows.

(In order of priority)

1. Add check boxes to the 'Feed' system trader allowing it to take clicks from Galleries or Trades. (so we can control this)  The subsequent percentage would then apply based on that which is checked.  For example maybe I want to specify "Send 10% of gallery clicks to a broker" or "Send 5% of trade clicks to a broker".  There is actually a considerable difference. ;)

2. Allow ways to specify that different things like Nocookie, Proxy, NoImg are not sent to the feed (broker).  I think I read that it does not differentiate now based on a post on the forum.  I may be mistaken.

3.  Allow some sort of setting or rules to limit better what click #'s are sent to "feed".  For instance maybe I don't want to send to feed anyone who hasn't clicked already at least 3 times and got a gallery previously.  The idea being to give them a chance to buy at your site first and then send them off only if they have already had the chance.  This would help maximize profits from pay site sales while still selling traffic.

4. Maybe offer ways to restrict certain trades (system or normal) from sending to 'feed'.  For instance maybe I don't want to send SE surfers to a broker.  I guess this ties in a little with #2.

Thanks for the consideration.  My apologies if these are already there and I missed it or misunderstood how something works!

I think there are still issues.  I just did a completely new install (amateurcfnmtube.com) and still got the blank page problem after trying to update to the ioncube version.  No big deal, I'll stay on .34 or .35 for this site for a while.  But just to let you know.  I doubt I am the only one seeing weirdness.

I will send an email or PM later if needed (very busy at the moment).
