What does the include say ... ?  Is it reading from a folder on your server ?   Is it calling up and iframe ?

php 5.3 is not standardized yet with many scripts etc., .... nothing wrong with 5.2 in any case

It states it's for php 5.3 only, I assume it's just a compatibility build for php 5.3, since I'm still on php 5.2 it does not apply to me and to lots more people I presume.

Yep, it was via scripts like tp and proton that they managed to get into my boxes - all index.php files had new includes in them, the /tmp folder had a new binary file in it called x11, which added an include <?php @include_once('/tmp/x11'); ?> on all index.php files.  I had Traffic Revenue pop ups coming up on all index files of my sites, it took me 3 days to clean all the shit, I lost $100's .... Permissions are such that it can be easy for hackers to get in. Especially when all files are 777.

Tp has to become much more safe for me to continue using it. 

It's a pity cause it's a good script otherwise.

I tried using /usr/bin/php lock.php  on it's own and it seemed to work, the response was:

usage:  lock.php  owner: group

I think that did it.  OR not ??  let me know

Is there any other way to lock files instead of root access,  I keep getting invalid user.  ANY OTHER WAY

Thanks, all done and all okay now; it seems the mass updater did not do it's job properly on that server.

Also take a look at the network stats, some tprods are way too little as to what the sites actually have ...

Hi,

On one server all is okay and the script updated everything properly and everything is running smoothly, including the new algo, however; on my second server all my sites say version 1.0.9 build 44, but when I check to see if the tradepusle2 algo is there, it is NOT there, my tpupdater.php size is 8kb, when I try to upload the tpupdater.php I downloaded from your site I get permission denied via ftp.

What needs to be done now??

It looks like your tp/data/ folder is accessible for everyone.
It's SERIOUS SECURITY HOLE and must be solved asap! IF you are using Nginx webserver, ask your server support to protect 'tp/data' folder for accessing from the web.

Would 775 permissions sort this out ?

Please let me know, otherwise I can only protect this using a password on Lighttpd ... that would make matters worse I think !

Hello,

I use stream rotator, smart thumbs, crystal etc.... the thumb script is not the issue, the issue is to know how to setup TradePulse correctly and what the in string should be at the top of each niche page; and what the  out string should be in your rotator for each group etc.

Hello 

Is there any tutorial or post showing step by step multi-niche site setup.

i.e How to name the groups in the groups page; what will the in code be on top of each niche page, the out in the rotator for each niche page (group) and so on.

It would be useful to have a small step by step tutorial, as I can see the subject is confusing and there are not any decent posts on this issue.
