Trade Pulse Support / Show these Settings on the trade form?
« on: February 04, 2009, 09:32:11 AM »
Hey ip0li!

I saw that feature (Show these Settings on the trade form) at Settings -> New trades. What exactly should it do when I turn this on? I thought it only shows those fields that are chosen below (under "Required fields") on the signup form, but no matter what I choose there, all fields appear. So, is that a bug, or what else is this function for?

Trade Pulse Feature Requests / Re: SE stats
« on: January 27, 2009, 11:02:35 AM »
will be nice to know what i get from each SE
now we can see stats for each keyword but not total stats for each SE
so i want to know what i get from google, yahoo, etc

Ahm, maybe I'm blind, but where can we see stats for each keyword? I only see the original (some of them very long) SE referrer URLs in my detailed stats. Sure, if I have a closer look, I can see the keywords the surfer typed in in that referring URL, but more detailed SE stats, just listing the keywords instead of the whole URL's - like server side stats do - would be very useful.

Hmm, to be honest - no, never experienced anything like that so far.

Good question, was thinking about that myself. My average execution time is usually around 5.50 msec, so I'd say your 6.40 are totally ok.

Other opinions?

Hey, no prob. Needed a few days to figure out how everything works in the admin area, too. Oh, and hit me up when the site is ready and you need trades  ;)

Dude, it's TP - not SP  ;D

Here's what you have to do: Go to the Settings page. Enter "/tp/ssi_in.php" in the "Incoming Hit Script" field. Then you enter "/tp/out.php?p=75&fc=1&url=#url#" at "Outgoing Hit Script" for example, if you wanna override click scheme settings and send 75% to content for all trades and first click to gallery. You can leave "Outging Friend Link Script" empty.

You don't need to add "<?php virtual("/tp/ssi_in.php")?>" to any php file, the nubiles script does that for you if you enter the info like explained above.

I hope that helps.

PS: If you want different settings for your outgoing links, check http://www.scriptpulse.com/tp/manual/outgoing-links.php or use the link generator inside TradePulse.

Trade Pulse Support / Re: Code attached to trade URL's and send to Google

Hey ip0li,

thanks for your reply! About the traffic going to google, you're right. Looks like it only happened directly after install. As soon as traffic started to build up it stopped sending clicks to that URL, at least I wasn't able to reproduce it since then.

However, one time I clicked on a thumb it sent me to a ScriptPulse URL, then redirecting to crocmovies. This would be ok if I'd use the free 1% skim version, but I have the paid one. Can you have a look at that please?

Trade Pulse Support / Code attached to trade URL's and send to Google

Hi!

I just installed TP on one of my sites to give it a try. So far everything looks kinda nice, but I noticed 2 strange things when clicking around.

1. When TP sends me to a trade, it doesn't actually send me to http://www.tradeurl.com/ but to http://www.tradeurl.com/?x=1234.5678.9123. Is that normal? I thought it maybe the "external info" feature, so TP sends info to the trade in case he uses TP or another script with this feature (like Proton). But I'm not sure about it.

2. Sometimes I get sent to http://www.google.com/no_trade - and I checked the notrade setting, it is set to "Send as
usual traffic". Do you have any idea what could be causing this?
