Trade Pulse Support / Re: Fatal error
« on: September 25, 2009, 01:06:09 PM »
I have this error on two of my MGP's since I updated to the latest version. No idea what is up

Warning: main(class.PT.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/*********/domains/***********.com/public_html/tp/vtop.php on line 3

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'class.PT.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/home/*********/domains/***********.com/public_html/tp/vtop.php on line 3

I see the same thing. Often with bizarrely high negative numbers

Is it doing it in other browsers on the Mac? Firefox? I often use http://caminobrowser.org/ to test stuff on the mac. Could be you just need to clear your cache?

Trade Pulse Support / Re: toplists?

You're not dense, you lack simple html knowledge.

Alright, fair enough. However, even your example is not a full example of the structure of the toplist. Just the beginning of the out.php anchor.

Sorry, I find the steps necessary to create and call to the toplist confusing and have yet to find a really comprehensive explanation. Since scripts are usually written by people who already get it they often leave out the basics. This script claims to be for people of many skill levels (including newbs). I am just looking for a better entry level toplist example so I can see my base options and go from there.  This script has been very cool as far as generating certain things but this is one area it doesn't come through for me. I'll keep looking into it.

I really wish the manual had some concrete examples of the simplest type of toplists and exactly how to get it up and running instead of just the overview and variables.

in the example above you use the this code
Quote
<a href="/tp/out.php?link=toplist&to=

Is that necessary? or is that just the way you have yours set up? I assume that the out.php has to be referenced but the OP didn't have that in his code. Sorry, I'm very dense when it comes to this stuff.

This is what the script has for any example in the toplist dialog.
