Title: TP Version 1.0.6 build 33
Post by: Kildoozer on September 19, 2011, 10:14:25 AM
- Improved security for toplists.
- The bug with counting spiders to trade Din/Hin has fixed.
- Auto-scanner has implemented into script. Now script will automatically check all PHP files inside 'tp' folder for 'belonging' to TradePulse. If it found any 'wrong' file, scanner will try to rename it. If script couldn't rename a file, you'll see a message on every admin page, like 'Please delete the file bla-bla.php'.
Scanner will start every hour, if you watching any admin page. It will also start right after current update.

I haven't played around much with this and just noticed it but after upgrading three sites 2/3 no longer let me log in with the usual username/password (it acts like the password is bad).  My IP hasn't changed (verified) so it's probably not the IP whitelist either.  Verified behavior in two different browsers.  Just wanted to give you a heads up on it.  I guess I'll play around and see if I can find a way in by resetting it or something.

Just in case anyone else runs into this (so far I think I am the only one from when I talked to Kildoozer in ICQ) and runs into an emergency where they need to get in to the admin ASAP; for me the problem seems to be connected to the /tp/data/settings/auth_ip_white_list.set file (even though it has the proper IP).  Renaming it to something else allows me in albeit without the IP protection.
