I clicked update, and recieved the following message.

Please, change the permisions on these files to "777"

tp_in.php isn't even on my server

Exactly next time follow installation instructions(chmod root to 777 till install is done). Solution is simple, upload empty tp_in.php file into your domain root, chmod it 777 then update script again. cheers
