Title: script installed ok, cannot login?

According to directions:

Installation successfully completed
Please login to admin area and change user/pass (current user: admin, pass: password).
(Login:)

I go to url, use admin and password, and I get a blank page.
So I try using the user/pass I created when i signed up, and I get a page that has no link to admin area.

Also, when I change permissions to 755, my page will not display. But if I change it back to 777 it displays.

Much help needed with script - this end does not understand scripts well, so need someone with some time to do in depth help.

Um, is anyone here able to help me?

Not only can I NOT login and get to script page, I am asking for anyone that will to help me set the script up proper as I do not understand these scripts.
Once I catch on it is ok. Just need some help.

Anyone out there who can answer my login problem and anyone out there who will take the time to help me once I get logged in?

sorry for the delay - Kildoozer figured it out yesterday. Now all i need is to find someone who can walk me thru setting this thing up, coz once i looked at it, it was like chinese to me.

you interested? or ya know anyone who will take the time to walk me thru this?

I may post another thread to see if I can get any takers.
