Title: question about strange SE refs
Post by: Pavel Svobada on April 23, 2009, 05:47:29 AM
I don't think it's a TP mistake but maybe somebody can explain me something. In my search engine referrers I sometimes see hundrets of hits coming from very rare keywords on page 200 on google or so, I get lots of hits in from those keywords in a short period of time. It's impossible that lots of people searched for that, the incoming Nr. of this hits can't be right. So, how do such high numbers appear, seeing it technically... Does the same user klick on the link on google like 200 times?

maybe I should add that from 1000 SE visitors in the last 24h 700 are unique.. Is this a normal number? I'd think when traffic comes from SE it should be more unique hits

I've got about 60-70 % uniques from google. Actually always had like this, even from the top kw in first 10.
