Title: Update Available!

Hi,

I get Update Available! every day. When I update I get msg:

Quote

The 1 files were successfully updated
    * tp/geoip.inc

The next day I get Update Available! again. And this is few weeks already. What's the problem ?
I use Version 1.0.5 build 24

Hi,

You get this message because for some reason the updater is failing to update the file tp/geoip.inc - so it keeps trying to do the update.

The most likely reason is that the permissions on tp/geoip.inc do not allow it to be written.

In my installation, permissions on tp/geoip.inc are set to 777, so try setting your permissions like that.  If the file does not exist then touch the file and set permissions to 777

Hi Andrew,

thanks for the tips but it doesn't work.
my geoip.inc file is 644
I change it to 777 but on the next day it is 644 again and I see "Update Available" again.

Somebody from the support guys?

Its permission issue, if its 777 its impossible trade pulse itself changes it back to 644! Ask your host please what could be changing permissions on this file.
