Title: Unique (definition)
Post by: zyron on November 26, 2010, 10:22:03 AM
I've got a few questions about how the unique is calculated, example;

First)
Surfer comes from trade 1 to the site - 1 unique (100%)
Same surfers comes from trade 2 to the site later on - would that be counted as unique or raw?

Second)
I've just upgraded to build 24 and see the Unique in is different from the overall stats
compared to the anti-cheat analyzer, is that correct?. Might be because of the recent update,
so maybe I just have to wait 24 hours and see.

Thanks in advance

1. Yes, it will be unique surfer again (unique for trade #2)
2. No, there is nothing changed in the latest builds that related to uniques.

Thanks for the reply.

Why are the "u.in" on the overall stats different from the Anti chat analyzer's "Unique IN %", shouldn't
it be the same?. I'm pretty sure most of my trades were around the same before I upgraded.

Hi.
The small difference is OK, the stats based on logs (Anti chat analyzer's) are more accurate.

One more question - so after 24 hours, the same IP / surfer is again counted as unique?.
